Rehabilitation

Saskatchewan Government Insurance assists claimants with recovery through a rehabilitation plan. The plan is determined in consultation with the claimant’s own practitioner and takes into account circumstances unique to the claimant’s situation.

Costs related to this treatment are covered by SGI for as long as the treatment is helping the claimant.

The Early Intervention Program guides claimants beyond the initial treatment to either secondary or tertiary assessments where necessary. Either way, the plan is intended to focus on the claimant’s recovery so they can return to their way of life.
