Decisions Living AssistanceLiving AssistanceClaimants that are unable to perform activities of daily living as a result of their injuries may have applied for living assistance benefits to hire someone to take care of them while they are not able to care for themselves. Daily living activities include; getting in and out of bed, getting dressed and undressed, bathing, preparing meals, eating, doing dishes, laundry, shopping and housekeeping as well as snow removal. The maximum amount payable is identified in the governing legislation and the booklet; "Personal Auto Injury Insurance - Your Guide to No Fault Coverage" distributed by Saskatchewan Government Insurance. |
